Launch Complex 47
Launch Complex 47 is licensed to Space Florida and used to support relatively
smaller meteorological rockets, typically the Super Loki, for educational purposes.

Past and Current Use
Launch Complex 47 was establish in February 1984 by the Eastern Range as
a meteorological rocket launch site. Space Florida has secured a Real
Property License from the 45th Space Wing in order to operate and maintain the launch
complex. Space Florida will be sponsoring a number of Florida-based higher
education academic institutions and businesses that will train future aerospace
technicians, and conduct research in support of university aerospace programs, as
well as research and development activities for potential DoD and NASA programs.
These efforts will include processing and launch of the type of small rockets historically
launched from LC-47.
