Space Florida Announces Call for Projects for Space Transportation Infrastructure Funds

Space Florida Invites Proposals for Space Transportation Infrastructure Development Projects

EXPLORATION PARK, Fla. (February 15, 2021) – Space Florida has announced its Call for Projects to solicit proposals to continue the development of space transportation infrastructure that supports Space Florida's legislative intent and Florida spaceport territory master plans. Each year, Space Florida issues this Call for Projects to allow the aerospace industry the opportunity to submit projects for consideration into the subsequent year's Work Program and Spaceport Improvement Program. This year, Space Florida will be accepting Space Transportation Infrastructure Matching Fund applications for fiscal years (FY) 2023 to 2027.Applications for FY23-27, as well as updates to previously submitted FY21 projects are due Thursday, April 15, 2021.

Applications are accepted on a continuous basis for future fiscal years.

Applications are accepted electronically (single PDF format) and may be submitted to Lauren Farrell, Planning & Development Project Manager. This application is mandatory before Space Florida can prioritize candidate projects for available funding.
